Nusa Dua
Introduction
A luxury resort enclave
Nusa Dua is a luxury resort enclave in South Bali. Built on 350 hectares of land, it is managed by the Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC) as an exclusive cocoon for the island’s most lavish 5-star resorts and villas.
The beach here is a long stretch of gorgeous white sand and clear calm waters, perfect for families with little children. The entire enclave is sparkling clean and pristine with spotless roads, wide sidewalks, lush greenery and beautiful statues throughout. The entrance and exit points are marked by magnificent Balinese stone gates manned by security guards.

Dining in Nusa Dua will leave you spoiled for choice – within all the resorts are spectacular dining venues that promise a treat for all the senses. In every resort, there would be at least 4 dining venues, each offering a different theme and cuisine.
For example, Hamabe at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua showcases fresh and authentic sushi and sashimi. There is sumptuous Italian cuisine at Octopus Ristorante at Ayodya Resort Bali, Balinese delicacies at Raja Balinese Restaurant at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Southeast Asian hot pot style dining at Baiyun, at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. Just make your booking and you’re all set to go!
Before the pandemic, many resorts would offer astonishing dining experiences under the night sky along the beachfront, accompanied by spectacular shows like Balinese dancing, gamelan music and fire dancers.
If you want to head out for a meal, you can always head to Tanjung Benoa or Jimbaran Beach for fresh seafood. There are also Indonesian warungs, cafes and restaurants all along the main streets.

Cultural Landmarks
Go exploring
Pura Geger is one of Nusa Dua’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The temple sits atop of a cliff overlooking Geger Beach, a beautiful stretch of white sand and crystal clear shallow water that’s right in front of The Mulia Hotel. From the beach, you can see the majestic temple outlined against the dazzling blue sky and the waves crashing against the rocks below. On ceremonial occasions, you can witness the local Balinese townsfolk populate the temple for prayers and to place offerings.
